Our Hospice Expands Services to Include Personal Care

[Columbus, Indiana] – [February 25, 2025] – Our Hospice, a leading provider of compassionate end-of-life care in south central Indiana for 45 years, is pleased to announce the expansion of its services to include Personal Care. This new service line will complement Our Hospice’s existing offerings of Palliative Care and Hospice Care, providing additional care giving options to enable clients to remain independent wherever they call home.

Personal Care Services
Our Hospice’s Personal Care program will be led by Julie Davis, Personal Care Program Manager. We are currently taking client inquiries in Bartholomew County through our website at https://ourhospice.org/personal-care/ or contact Julie at 812-447-7500. Client care will begin in early April. This program provides assistance with daily living needs, allowing clients to remain safely and comfortably in their homes for as long as possible. Our compassionate and expertly trained caregivers can assist with:
- Bathing and grooming
- Dressing and toileting
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Transportation to appointments
A Full Spectrum of Care
Our Hospice’s expansion into Personal Care strengthens its existing commitment to provide exceptional care at every stage of a client’s journey.
- Palliative Care: Our Palliative Care Clinic focuses on managing pain and symptoms of a serious illness, improving quality of life for patients still receiving curative care.
- Hospice Care: Our Hospice Care program provides compassionate care for patients with a life expectancy of six months or less. This care focuses on comfort, dignity, and emotional support for both patients and their loved ones.
- Personal Care: Our Personal Care provides assistance with daily living needs, allowing clients to remain safely and comfortably in their homes for as long as possible
