Our Hospice Medical Director, Diane Danly, MD, Attains Board Certification
(April 25, 2019) Our Hospice of South Central Indiana is pleased to announce that Diane Danly, MD, HMDC, FAAFP has recently achieved Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) and the Degree of Fellow from the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).
Certification from the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine is a rigorous, comprehensive program for evaluating physician knowledge, skills and attitudes to assure patients, employers and payers that a physician has achieved competence for practice in a given field. Laura Leonard, Our Hospice President explained, “Dr. Danly has gone above and beyond the minimum requirement necessary for her license. This certification ensures that she can deliver the highest quality care in the specialty of Hospice and Palliative Care.”
Dr. Diane Danly has also recently been awarded a Degree of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. This award recognizes physicians who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues and in their communities by their service to family medicine, the advancement of health care and their commitment to professional development. Leonard stated, “Dr. Danly’s ongoing effort to educate and inform both the community and peer physicians on the vital role of Hospice and Palliative care demonstrates her commitment to her patients and families and her passion for high-quality care.”

Dr. Diane Danly joined Our Hospice of South Central Indiana as Medical Director in 2017. She leads the medical team that includes, Dr. Roy Goode M.D. FAAFP, Dr. Shobha Sahi M.D., Dr. Steven Kinsey M.D., Dr. Amir Tirmizi M.D. HPM, Dr. Arthur Alunday M.D., Dr. Jennifer Stanley M.D. and Nurse Practitioners Lisa McHone, RN AMP, Lindsay Williams, FNP-C, Jennifer Grant RN, MSN, NP-C, ONC and Eileen DeWire NP-C.
