Women in Leadership Lunch
Join the Chamber as it celebrates four outstanding women who personify professional excellence, integrity, collaboration, entrepreneurship and innovation. The event will shine the spotlight on four strong leaders from different sectors of the community. This year?s honorees include:
- Jacque Douglas, a lifelong educator who will retire from Bartholomew County School Corporation as its Director of Special Projects. She launched Dancing with the Stars, an event has generated nearly $400,000 in revenues over six years for programs that help families in need.
- Tracy Embree is Vice President of Cummins Inc. and President of Cummins Turbo Technologies. Her senior-level leadership post is a direct result of her solid work ethic and intelligence. Despite the demands on her schedule, she finds time to mentor others and to engage in the civic life of the community.
- Cindy Waddle, regional manager of Dora Hotels. Under her leadership, Hotel Indigo has developed unique collaborations with community groups like the Columbus Arts Council and the Columbus Museum of Art and Design.
- Lynne Hyatt, a third-generation merchant who moved Lockett?s Ladies Shop back into the heart of downtown. Lynne?s record of community service is lengthy and it includes a rotation as president of the Chamber?s board of directors.
