CYP [Community] Amazing Race 2017
In an effort to bring together local interns and young professionals, the contest showcases Columbus’ historic landmarks, iconic parks, famous structures and public art, and local organizations in a race along the People Trail.
Teams will be led on an adventure through Columbus in a race to find clues at 10 challenge locations. Each team will navigate their way through an undisclosed race course with nothing but clues they earn at challenges to guide them. Teams will be competing to win a share of the prize package valued at $1,000 in total.
Event sign-in will begin the day of the event at 9:00 a.m. at Columbus Central Middle School, when team shirts and race instructions will be handed out to participants. The first clue will be handed out at 10 a.m., and the Amazing Race will begin! The race will last throughout the day with the last team expected to complete the course by 3:00 p.m. All participants will be provided lunch after the morning challenges are completed before setting off on the final 5 challenges. Shortly after the final team crosses the finish line, an awards ceremony will take place at the BBQ Blues & Brew festival along 4th Street in downtown Columbus.

Fees/Admission
$40 for a team of 2 ($20/person) **registration deadline= June 16th. Registrations after that date are not guaranteed a their requested t-shirt size**
